Denver

I am very excited to have been accepted by the GSA to attend a technology conference in Denver, CO at the end of June.

I am attending the conference along with two other girlfriends of mine. We are very excited! There are great classes being offered to learn a lot of new great ideas. I am taking a six hour class on integrating technology into education to see what other great ideas I can find.

I enjoy using the technology as much as possible within my teaching. I hope that this conference will be a great success!

Crazy Times!

Well...
Things have been very crazy lately! I am working on finishing up the Math Curriculum for my district which is due on May 15th. We have been staying after school at the Bd of Ed from 3:30-7:30. We are getting paid for our time, but man does it make your day long and take up ALL OF YOUR TIME!

I have been busying planning and finishing up two field trips for our sixth grade. We are going to see Disney's Oceans and to Ron-A-Roll at the end of the year. Completing the paper work and things you need for a field trip is like you are buying a house or something. It never ends!

I just went away during April Break for the first time in the four years I have been teaching. I really needed the time to get away and relax! It was great!
