Week of March 14th

This week is going to be a stressful week! I have conferences Monday thru Thursday. We do have half days on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday which is good! One of my best friends' father passed away this weekend so I have to juggle my time to make it to the funeral as well without missing my appointments with parents. Always something going on!

I am happy with how my personal webpage is coming along and my students have been using it a lot. They come in and tell me what links they used when they were home and they use it in class. They love the Competitive Math Games.

I am happy the CMT testing is done. I am looking forward to doing some math projects and using the technology more through the end of the year.

My students have been finishing up their fractions animations as part of a project I did for EDT 512. I had to create a unit that uses technology. My students had to create an animation that shows one character explaining to another how to add 2/3 + 1/7. They had a great time with it and I am impressed at their quality of work.
